Melbourne

Last week we spent in Melbourne and surrounding area. It started as a beading trip to see Laura McCabe, who finally came to Australia to teach. Victoria Bead Society invited her here, and of course I couldn't miss the opportunity. We've met Laura few years ago. I took lots of classes during my beading career. Some of the artists stay in memory as artists and teachers, but some of them became friends. I'm happy to call Laura a friend. Laura was accompanied by her mother-in law, and four of us (my hubby Scott was with me) had great time together.
I absolutely love both of them; Laura is adorable and way too nice, and Julianne has great sense of humor! So looking forward to meet them again!

On wednesday we had break from classes, so Scott and I decided to drive and see Great Ocean Road. Trip was absolutely wonderful, even with cloudy, windy weather.
Road goes along coast, so views are spectacular!!!! Of course we saw famous "12 Apostles" (8 left)and lots of stunning sigths.
Very happy, Scott made this trip possible! Thanks hubby!




W niedziele wrocilismy z ponad tygodniowej podrozy do Melbourne. Tamtejsze "bead society" zorganizowalo przyjazd do Australii Laury McCabe. Laure poznalismy kilka lat temu i spotykalismy sie z nia w roznych miejscach w USA. Jest ona nie tylko utalentowana artystka, ale i zaprzyjaniona dusza. Tym razem poznalismy tez jej tesciowa, ktora pomaga Laurze w prowadzeniu jej biznesu. Obie sa super i doprawdy swietnie sie we czworo bawilismy.
W przerwach miedzy klasami zwiedzalismy Melbourne, a takze wybralismy sie na "Great Ocean Road", droge biegnaca nad brzegiem oceanu i obfitujaca w super widoki.
Mimo nie za pieknej pogody i silnego wiatru od wody, podroz byla swietna. Widoki przepiekne. Polecam , warte zobaczenia!
